Executive Team:
Buddy Scauzzo
Buddy is the Owner and CEO of Rental Express Video Co., Inc. and Dub Express, Inc. He founded Rental Express in January of 1989; Dub Express was started in September of 1990. Since then, he has supervised the growth of both companies, emphasizing a smart, R&D based business plan that has always focused on providing professional best-value video rental, production, and duplication services.
A graduate of the still-photography program at the Art Institute, Buddy brings a creative eye and a sharp pencil to everything he does! If you can’t locate him, he’s probably getting his focus back by racing motocross somewhere in the middle of the Mojave desert.
Steven Barger
Steve is the President of Rental Express and Dub Express. He also heads up all field production support for Rental Express. If he’s out of the office, you’ll usually find him directing, or TDing live multicam events using one of the four HD/SD digital flypacks he designed. Want to talk tech? Talk to Steve!
A Film/Video graduate of RIT, Steve started recording B/W video to ½” EIAJ open reel VTRs in the mid ‘70s; he has worked as an engineer in radio and a sound recordist for film, and is FCC licensed; he has spent years shooting countless projects on 1" video, 16mm and 35mm film in New York, and has been working in the SF Bay area for 20 years. For 16 of those 20 years he has been at Rental & Dub Express.
Maria Stepenenko
Maria is the CFO of Rental and Dub Express. She has been the one and only controller and accounting expert in both companies for over 16 years. She keeps the cash flow going strong year after year, and is the voice of reason when things tend to go a little crazy around the office!
A native of Ukraine, Maria is a graduate of the Economics program at Odessa National University. Even though it’s been a few years, her descriptions of the Black Sea dachas make us all want to go there on our next vacation!
